Flicker & Starling
Even though we live in the middle of the city we usually see birds in the trees and at the feeders in our back garden. Today I saw 10 robins, 20 starlings, 3 crows, several goldfinches and juncos and a flicker. I took some pictures (of course) of the flicker at the suet feeder and almost got a good shot of it chasing off the starling.

Wow! I love your bird shots! Fantastic as always. That reminds me, I need to refill my feeders.
Great shots, the first is particularly very clear, lovely.
Love the first two. I fed birds until we moved, and couldn't attract them to my yard. I'm hoping once some landscaping is done the birds will be more interested.
I love these shots, I set up a bird feeder last year to try to attract some birds and havent succeeded in getting anything worthwhile yet. These are very nice.
That is so cool....I really love your bird shots. Nice DOF the first one is like he is posing.
Your bird shots are always great. Amazing that you have sooo many birds at your feeders.. :) That must be soooo cool.. :)
The last one is hillarious :) Great shots. I may set a bird feeder as well. Unfortunately, the birds living in Poland during winter are not so colourful.
You take such beautiful images! There are such subtle colours and lovely detail in these shots. Well done :o)
Great shots, very clear and sharp.
You always do a great job photographing birds.
I especiall love the backside of the flicker. Great shot. The robins have been very noisy today (I guess they think Spring is here) Thanks for visiting my blog and come again.
The focus and bokeh of these shots is first rate. Nicely done.
Got a picture of a yellow Crested flicker once and it was so cool.
Awesome job, Karen. Really great! I think the bird in the top picture looks like he's pouting.
I love the pictures .. as I love birds .. but Flicker and Starling .. what cute names .. what cute and timely captures.
