Virginia River Trail

I walked the Virginia River trail from Quidi Vidi Lake to Virginia Lake and back, a distance of about 7 km. I counted over 45 different types of wildflowers, saw several kinds of birds and enjoyed the peaceful walk. The trail is part of the Grand Concourse system of trails throughout the city.

Tall Ship Kruzenshtern

The Russian tall ship Kruzenshtern is in St. John's for a few days. It is the 2nd tallest tall ship in the world and it's impressive!
