A Hawk and a Blue Jay
I watched this hawk chase this blue jay around my back garden this afternoon. It lasted for over half an hour. At times the blue jay would chase the hawk and even perch on a wire about a foot away from the hawk. A brave blue jay!

One Flower - 6 Edits
My sister-in-law gave me a bouquet of flowers today, of course I had to photograph them and play around.

London Day 6
Today we went to the Horse Guards Parade and watched the changing ceremony. Then we walked to Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus. Lots of crowds again! We went in a few stores but just enjoyed seeing the beautiful old buildings and people watching. We also went in the National Gallery and saw masterpieces by Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh and others (no photography allowed in there). This evening we walked along the Thames and did a geocache. We're leaving tomorrow, it has been a wonderful vacation.

London Day 5
Today we went on a cruise on the River Thames as far as Greenwich. The ride took about and hour and along the way we went under many bridges including London Bridge and Tower Bridge, had great views of the Tower of London and saw lots of buildings, apartments (flats) and Canary Wharf. We got off at Greenwich and spent about 3 hours walking around. We walked around the downtown area and went to a huge market then walked up the hill to the Royal Observatory where the prime meridian is. There is a great view from up there of London, the O2 (Millennium Dome) and Greenwich University. It was another sunny warm day.

London Day 4
This morning we went on the London Eye. It was hard to get photos without reflections from the glass but in spite of that I took hundreds of photos. The views are amazing. After that we went to the London Zoo. We saw lots of animals, I'll share just a few photos here (sloth, meerkat, pelican, stork, penguin and gorilla). We spent a few hours at the zoo and came back to the hotel to rest. Later in the afternoon we walked from our hotel along Bankside (where we saw more street performers) to the Millennium Bridge. We walked across the bridge to St. Paul's and back to our hotel where we saw a lovely sunset. We had another beautiful day, sunny and warm. We've been very lucky to get such good weather.
