What lens are you using for these? I also love the point of view. I love the dark sky in the second one, and the way the icy snow piles up on the first one. It was -6F here last night.
the trax in the snow make for a good subject. especially with that sharp blue sky in the top of the frame. unusual framing, but i think it works nicely. it's my favourite shot so far.
temp -14??? wow!!! make space, i'm moving in for the winter! :)

YIKES!! But what gorgeous images!!! I will hush about our current 31F temperature and ice on the ground. :)
brrr....the pics sure help add goose bumps.. I like the point of view in #2, I bet the snow is crunchy underfoot.

And you went outside? OMG I know anything for the shot.
Great winter shots. I like the top one. And I thought we were cold with -1, the other day.
All of your snow scene shots are great, so hard to get right but you have nailed them. Did you use a polariser at all in any of them?
We are getting some snow right now, hopefully it will be enough to cover the brown spots of mud LOL
BBRRRRRR indeed!!! More great shots. No 1 is my fave of these.

Love the top shot here! Really great composition and the rocks in the foreground provide some great interest.
