Bowring Park

Bowring Park didn't seem to be too affected by Hurricane Igor. There were some washed out trails and a few downed trees but nothing like downtown and the center of the city.

After the Hurricane

I went out today taking pictures of all the downed trees that Igor left in its wake. Power lines are down and homes are damaged by huge trees that have fallen on them. We have no damage at our house but we still have no electricity. We are hoping to get it back tomorrow morning.

Hurricane Igor

Hurricane Igor started off calmly enough with some rain and high winds. But by afternoon both the rains and wind intensified. We lost power at 3pm and it did not come back. Before the power outage I took some pictures around the city of raging rivers and flooded streets. After I got home we heard reports of downed power lines and toppled trees.
