Salzburg, Day 3
Another full day with sun the entire day!! First I walked 200 steps up the Kapuzinerberg hill to a lookout over the city. From there we walked to the old city and I took lots more steps up to Nonnberg Abbey where there are fantastic views as well as the gate that was featured in The Sound of Music. Then we went in St Peter's Abbey and saw the old cemetery behind it. I walked up lots of narrow, steep steps to see the catacombs. We saw the house Mozart was born in, went inside Kollegienkirche, took the elevator up to the Mönchsberg lookout where, again, we had amazing views of Salzburg and then we walked along the river and through the Mirabell gardens. Another amazing day in Salzburg.
