East Coast Trail
A mix of sun and clouds with fog in the distance and a nice breeze was the weather on my hike today. The location - the always beautiful East Coast Trail between Maddox Cove and Cape Spear. Because I was hiking alone I did not do the full trail, but walked about 3.2 km then turned around and came back. Mostly in the open with great views of the coastline, the trail ranges from boardwalk and hard packed earth to stepping stones and some very rocky terrain. In the photos below you can see what I am talking about - if you see a pile of rocks, that is the trail!

Love that coastline. When I was young, my aunt and I walked that area picking cranberries. I think the weather made the land more beautiful because it was not competing with the sky.
