Silver Thaw






Our snow was almost gone but yesterday we got 28cm and freezing rain on top of that overnight. Everything was coated in ice today, known around here as "Silver Thaw".

Beautiful as always Karen, I love the snow but I must say that this year I am glad to see the end of winter. I don't know if it is me getting older or what but I really felt the cold this year and we aren't nearly as extreme as you guys are there.

Hope all is well, I paticularly liked the St Patrick's Day pics, very vivid.

Ms Soup, that's the Geo Centre, a geological museum. It's quite an interesting building, most of the building is underground and the cliffs/rocks form the walls. Website here:
