Joe surprised me with a new camera today, a Canon EOS-450D Rebel XSi. Here are some of the first shots from it, I'll be practicing with it a lot and hope to get it all figured out before our trip to London in September. One of the features is the ability to take monochrome photos (with my other camera I had to post-process photos to get that look).

A great start with your new camera. I look forward to new photos with your new 12 meg camera. By the way, you take awesome macros. I don't know how you get such clarity in your macros because I can't come close to achieving your results no matter how hard I try.
