And here's a photo that I won 3rd place for at DPC (out of 232 entries). It was originally in 4th place but 3rd place got eliminated so mine moved up).

Neat! The fog looks like it really is 'rolling' in. Nice apple pic too!
i think overcast/foggy days can often make for the best photos. this is a nice composition.
