Cape St. Mary's

Today I went to Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve. The main attraction there is "Bird Rock" with thousands of nesting gannets. I borrowed a friend's 300mm lens and took hundreds of photos. Along with the gannets I saw kittiwakes, murres and 2 bald eagles.

Bay Bulls Lighthouse

I hiked the East Coast Trail to the lighthouse in Bay Bulls today, a 7 km hike. It was a warm day with little wind and the trail doesn't have many steep parts. I found 2 geocaches along the trail, saw a whale and a couple of icebergs in the distance and took lots of pictures.

Botanical Gardens

Another trip to the Botanical Gardens today, it was a nice day for it.
