Juvenile Bald Eagle

I went to Quidi Vidi Lake this morning to take pictures of the ducks. Another birdwatcher/photographer came by and we were chatting and taking pictures. Then a jogger stopped and asked if we had seen the eagle in the tree. She pointed across the lake and said that someone was over there taking pictures of it. So off we went and joined the other photographer. We were under the tree looking up at it for ages while it posed for us before flying off. This is the closest I've been to an eagle.
