Acorns

I found these acorns one day when I was out for a walk so I brought a bunch home to take pictures of. There are not many oak trees around here and I don't see acorns often.

I had a few blue jays eating peanuts on the deck today, one of them only had one leg. I saw him last month too so at least he's surviving.

Middle Cove Waves

Things have calmed down a bit since yesterday's storm but the waves at Middle Cove Beach are still intense. There were a lot of people out at the beach today, some got a little too close to the waves as you can see in these pictures.
