Downtown Doors & Windows

I went for a walk in the snow this morning and found some beautiful doors and windows downtown.

Black-capped Chickadees (Poecile atricapillus) near Kent's Pond except for the last bird which is a Boreal Chickadee (Poecile hudsonicus). You can see the differences in colouring.

Slate-colored Junco (Junco hyemalis hyemalis)

The Slate-colored Junco is a subspecies of the Dark-eyed Junco.

Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus)

One look at the tail and you'll know why this is called a Red Squirrel.
