thanks for your comments on my "cancer relay luminary" type picture with the silhouette (sorry for the spelling, I have the hiccups). I would have liked to get a shot of the bagpipers in silhouette the same way above the "hope" sign, but by the time they started it was too dark to get it. Sorry I didn't reply directly, I haven't figured out how to do that.
I am an amateur photographer from Newfoundland, Canada. I started this photo-a-day blog in January 2006 and use it to share photos of life around me as well as photos from trips. Until February 2009 I used a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I now use a Canon EOS 40D. My lenses include:
Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS,
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro,
Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III,
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM,
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
I welcome all comments and questions.

I really like their red uniforms against the fog. The close up is cool too, cool expressions.
