Flatrock
I went for a hike in Flatrock today, in the first picture you can see where the community gets its name. The 2nd photo shows a glacial erratic, a large boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago. It looks like it came crashing down the hill into this fence but it probably hasn't moved since it was deposited there.

Great images ! I wish I had the time to search out new frontiers every day.
I used to love playing on those 'flat' rocks as a kid. Great pics, as always.
Awesome images. Hiking is so great and I just love your area it is sooooo beautiful. :)
I love the clouds on the horizon and the water in the first one.
Looks like a great place to hike. I can imagine them trying to move that rock and then saying, "Forget about it. We'll build the fence around it!"
Nice work.
Those are great shots. I love the fact the the fence around it looks like the boulder just came down and broke it.
