High Key Daffodil

This is a mini daffodil, I bought a pot of those at the grocery store too. It's really small, good thing I have the macro lens. I placed it on the soft box and over exposed for a high key look.

Oh, and for those wondering, the abstract photo I posted last week (here) was not ice, it was an old DVD that I put in the microwave for about 5 seconds. Then I took lots of pictures with the light reflecting off it.

Nicely done and it looks beautiful. I have to wonder why you would do that to a DVD. :-)

This really works. The outer petals (leaves?) almost fade into the background highlighting the trumpet.
