Happy Canada Day!

Fireworks from Quidi Vidi Lake tonight. The fog was rolling in and obscured some of the fireworks.......only in Newfoundland!

Happy New Year

We went to a friends house last night, they set off fireworks in their back garden at midnight. I was impressed with how good they were.

Sparkling!

I took some photos of a sparkler this evening, the first time I have tried this. I was happy with the results. I am also including a negative image of the sparkler because I think it's neat.

Fireworks last night across the harbour. For a while it was snowing and really windy, we didn't think the fireworks would go ahead. But they did and it was a great show.

Canada Day Fireworks

There was a beautiful display of fireworks over Quidi Vidi Lake tonight in St. John's. Happy Canada Day!
