I went as far as Goat Cove (it continues on to Beachy Cove). The ropes are at Goat Cove. I used the rope to go down to the beach, but would not attempt going up the other side. The side I went down (and back up) was zig-zag. The other side was almost vertical! Not for me. Wasn't too windy either, a bit sheltered.

Such a beautiful day for your hike. Bet it was windy!
Did you do the whole trail? I read that there is a ropes section. Scary?
