The Central Fire Station in downtown St. John's had an open house today - a fundraiser for the Community Food Sharing Association which recently lost their entire warehouse full of food to a fire. For a food donation you could go in the fire station for a look around. I brought a donation and took lots of photos.
A photo-a-day on many subjects (macro, nature, animals, still life, scenic, cityscapes, etc.)

Great pictures. The firefighters are all heroes and I'd love to have a look found that fire station.
The fire trucks are quite similar to those we have here. I imagine some St. John's firefighters have made it out here in September for the national service of remembrance- certainly I've seen Newfoundlanders among the ranks.
