I had a few blue jays eating peanuts on the deck today, one of them only had one leg. I saw him last month too so at least he's surviving.

Talk about adaptive skills! I've seen cats and dogs that were missing a leg or even two but never a one-leggged jay. I wonder if it was born like it, hmmmm, we'll never know.
