I walked the Virginia River trail from Quidi Vidi Lake to Virginia Lake and back, a distance of about 7 km. I counted over 45 different types of wildflowers, saw several kinds of birds and enjoyed the peaceful walk. The trail is part of the Grand Concourse system of trails throughout the city.
