Ice

With a temperature of -6º and a wind-chill of -17º there's bound to be ice somewhere. I had no problem finding this ice today.

Hi Karen

It has been a while since my last visit and I have really enjoyed browsing through all your most recent photos.

The ice ones are great, I have shot a bit of this subject recently as we had our first snow a week or so ago and yesterday an ice storm. I love your use of B&W for these.

I will try to be a more regular visitor as I always enjoy your photos, you have a great eye.

Wow!. these are great shots. I love the bottom one. I was inspired by your recent photos of the downtown Christmas lights so tonight I tried my hand at photographing them and I almost froze to death in the process. I also tried the zoom effect but it didn't come out as nice as yours.I posted the results on my blog. Please forgive me for posting similar photos but I often use your work as a test for myself. If I can even come close to the quality of your work then I know I'm making progress.
