Quidi Vidi Lake
This city lake (I think it's actually a pond) is only a few minutes from my house. I go there often to photograph the ducks and gulls.

I like how you can see a spot of rain on the hilltop on the right
The grass/rushes in the front add a bit of warmth to a very cold scene.
BTW, what is the difference between a lake and a pond? Size?
Tony, I think a pond can support bottom life but a lake can't. That's what I learned in school but it could be wrong.
This is such a lovely image and very pleasant to look at. would make a great poster.
