Crayons are always good to have laying around. Never know when you're going to have a 2 year old dropped in your lap for an afternoon :)
Colors look great. A nice stock shot.
Just a thought, but I would look at cloning out the light reflections on the crayons.

Nice composition. And yes, you're not the only one. I've bought things just for challenges - but only if they were cheap ;-).
I like the white background and the composition in general - think I would have moved the white crayon off the outside though.
