In the past 2 days birders on the Avalon Peninsula have spotted over a dozen Pomarine Jaegers - seabirds that are normally not seen here. I saw 3 at Witless Bay and Renews.

The first bird is a male Green-winged Teal, not often seen in Bowring Park.
