The pack ice is just outside St. John's harbour and bits of it are making their way into the harbour. Another cold day.

Photos taken in Middle Cove/Outer Cove today. The ice looks nice but the wind coming off it was freezing. I'll be happy if a few icebergs show up soon.

Everything is still covered in ice today, these pictures were taken on Signal Hill this morning.

Silver Thaw

Our snow was almost gone but yesterday we got 28cm and freezing rain on top of that overnight. Everything was coated in ice today, known around here as "Silver Thaw".
